With privileged views of the Alameda Principal in the capital of Malaga, the Irish company Alkimii opens its new office in Spain. A workspace that seeks to bring Ireland to the Costa del Sol, for the joy and well-being of its workers. From now on, they have the opportunity to develop their work in a flexible way. The design is based on the concept of the hybrid office, in which teleworking and office attendance are diluted. A way of being in a corporate environment, without forgetting the benefits that a city like Malaga offers for teleworking, its climate and its light, among other things.
This is a technology company dedicated to software development. In the interior design of this hybrid office, the aim was to create a refined, corporate and flexible environment in which to combine home office with face-to-face work.
This conditions the decisions on both the layout and the choice of furniture. Thus, the choice is for lift-top operating tables that can be used as tables for individual sitting or standing work, or as tables around which to work informally in a team.
Faced with a protected building, with original wooden joinery and windows facing the Alameda Principal, warm materials such as wood, neutral tones and touches of blue corporate colour accents are proposed.
To encourage creativity and collaborative work, magnetic whiteboards are used in all workspaces.
Another important character in this office design is the presence of vegetation. Following the guidelines of biophilic design, it gives the meeting room a special character. Its prominence brings colour, freshness and well-being.
The lighting, the vegetation and the illuminated logo make this meeting room a corporate and comfortable place at the same time. Whiteboards on both sides of the room support a collaborative and dynamic way of working.
The interior design in Alkimii’s new offices is generated in the service of work flexibility and the creation of comfortable environments to provide maximum well-being for workers.
